Siya is an upcoming Hindi drama movie written by Manish Mundra and Haider Rizvi and directed by Manish Mundra. This movie shows a woman’s life in a patriarchal society where she is degraded and humiliated when she should be treated with respect.
The movie revolves around a small-town girl named Siya who against all odds decides to fight for justice and starts a movement against the vicious patriarchal system so that she can get justice. This movie is an attempt to depict the abject inhumanity when powerless and innocent women are subjected to live in a world that treats sex as taboo and where women are treated not as human beings but as sex objects.
This movie is produced by Raghav Gupta under Drishyam Films. The lead roles in the film are played by Pooja Pandey, and Vineet Kumar Singh while Pankaj Rajput plays the supporting role in the film. The names of the music composers are unknown and the cinematography is done by Rafey Mehmood and Subhransu Kumar Das. Mahendra Singh Lodhi edits the movie. Siya is scheduled to be released on 16th September and distributed by Panorama Studios.
