Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu is an upcoming Tamil musical gangster film written by B. Jeyamohan and directed by Faiza Rajmohamed. This movie is the first instalment of a planned duology. The screenplay is written by Gautham Vasudev Menon.
The movie revolves around a low cast man who has come to the big city for his higher studies. The film depicts his struggles for his identity and also the essence of his fellow low caste members. It is a story showing a man’s struggles and problems with something that is out of his control and should not define him.
This movie is produced by Ishari K. Ganesh under Vels Film International. Silambarasan TR plays the lead role in the movie while Siddhi Idnani, Raadhika Sarathkumar, Neeraj Madhav and Aangelina Abraham play supporting roles. The music in this movie is composed by A. R. Rahman while the cinematography is done by Siddhartha Nuni. The movie is edited by Anthony. Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu is scheduled to be released on 15 September and distributed by Red Giant Movies and AA Films.
