Irrfan Khan dies at the age of 53 in Mumbai hospital

Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan has died on Wednesday at Mumbai’s Kokilaben Hospital. The actor was 53 years old. Yesterday, he was admitted to the hospital after he complained about the breathing illness. He was kept in ICU under observation due to colon infection.
To annul all such extreme rumours, on behalf of the actor an official statement was issued around 1 AM on Wednesday. But this morning the actor passed away at the hospital, fighting with infection.

After being diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumour a while back, he was under medical attention.
Irrfan Khan’s last film was “Angrezi Medium” before the nationwide lockdown was imposed in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic and led to complete shutdown of cinema halls. Irrfan is well known for his roles in Shoojit Sircar’s Piku, Tigmanshu Dhulia’s Paan Singh Tomar, Ang Lee’s Life Of Pi, and Saket Chaudhary’s Hindi Medium among others.
