The very famous Friends star, Jennifer Aniston has always been in the spotlight since she rose to fame with her iconic character, Rachel. Consequently, her love life has also always been in the radar.
Recently, Brad Pitt posted a picture on his social media. The setting of the picture is said to match that of Jennifer Aniston’s house in Beverly Hills. So, there are rumours that both of them might be quarantining together.
Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston were married for five years before they split up in 2005. Brad Pitt had later married Angelina Jolie whom he had met while filming ‘Mr and Mrs Smith’ while Jen and Brad were still happily married. The separation was especially hard for Jennifer.
“The world was shocked, and I was shocked,” she told Vanity Fair, admitting she felt angry, hurt and embarrassed.
Having chosen to believe her husband when he insisted nothing was going on, the Friends star collapsed in grief and retreated from the spotlight, unable to suffer the agony of reading anything about her ex.
Of her reaction to the pictures, she explained: “I can’t say it was one of the highlights of my year. Who would deal with that and say, ‘Isn’t that sweet! That looks like fun!’? But sh*t happens. You joke and say, ‘What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.’
“I have to think there’s some reason I have called this into my life,” she says. “I have to believe that—otherwise it’s just cruel.”
Despite all the heartache, Jen forgave him and both of them became good friends. They grew closer post-Brad Pitt’s and Angelina Jolie’s divorce in 2016. Not only did Brad attend Jen’s 50th birthday party last year, but the duo left shutterbugs busy at the SAG Awards 2020 when they reunited in the backstage. Ever since rumours mills have gone wild speculating that Brad and Jen have reunited. Reports also hinted that the actors were planning a second wedding but that’s just hearsay.
“They both feel humbled and grateful for everything they have right now, especially each other,” a source is quoted. The insider also added that the couple has met secretly several times since the SAG Awards reunion.
“I don’t think she’s ever really stopped loving him, even though he broke her heart when he left her for Angelina Jolie. It has taken a long time, but she has forgiven him for everything – forgiveness has been a big part of them moving on,” the insider added.
The actors are yet to comment on the rumours but until then we can always keep fantasizing about their hopeful fairy tale ending.
