To be the owner of India’s first Lamborghini Urus Graphite Capsule itself is like being in an exclusive club of your own. But Telugu actor Jr NTR has just gone ahead and topped it off by paying a reportedly whopping ₹17 lakh to get a specially customised number plate. Jr NTR whose affection towards automobiles is well documented in the past, paid this huge sum as he registered his special number plate at the Khairatabad RTO Office in Hyderabad on Thursday, September 23.
The actor even took out his Lamborghini Urus for a spin on the road of Hyderabad. Nicknamed the Young Tiger, Jr NTR shelled out ₹ 3.16 crore in August to bring home the Lamborghini Urus. The special Graphite Capsule model which is also the country’s first is a black matte finish and looks as elegant as ever on the roads.
The beast of an SUV is powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine with over 650hp. The company claims top speeds of 305kph and a 0-100kph sprint time of just 3.6 seconds. The special Graphite Capsule comes with a special matte finish on the exteriors and is available in four colours — Nero Noctis (Black), Grigio Keres (Grey), Grigio Nimbus (Grey) and Bianco Monocerus (White) — while the interiors are made from premium carbon fibre with Alcantara seats and leather inserts.
