Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani’s most recent, Shershaah have been witnessing overwhelming reactions from the individuals. The biopic of late Captain Vikram Batra won piles of appreciation from actor Kangana Ranaut as well.
The Manikarnika lead took to her Instagram stories and hark back to the time when Vikram Batra’s death news was a ‘slit into the hearts’ of the individuals. She wrote “National hero Vikram Batra was a Himachali boy from Palampur, very popular and loved soldier. When the tragedy happened, news spread like wildfire in Himachal, it slit through our hearts. As a kid, I remember being tormented for days.” Praising lead actor Sidharth Malhotra, Kangana composed, “What a glorious tribute @sidmalhotra. Congratulations to the entire team. It was a big responsibility and you all excelled.” Besides Kangana, various b-wood celebrities like Katrina Kaif and Kamal Hassan also praised Shershaah.
The movie is directed by Vishnuvardhan and produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Shabbir Boxwala, Ajay Shah, Himanshu Gandhi. Siddharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani are in the lead role of late Captain Vikram Batra and his love interest Dimple Cheema respectively. It is available to watch on Amazon Prime. Currently, the movie holds an IMDb rating of 8.9.
