Raj Kundra Pornography Case Updates: All that has happened till now.

British Indian businessman Raj Kundra, husband of one of the famous Bollywood Divas Shilpa Shetty. Arrested in pornography case on April 14th this year. A lot has happened since then, interim relief against arrest to a businessperson in November 2020 case registered by the Nodal cyber police station in Mumbai. Raj was taken into custody till July 23.

Poonam Pandey, an Indian actor and model had filed a case against Kundra. His associates were from Armsprime Media, the company which was handling her app. She filed the case against illegal use of her photos and videos even when her contract with the company was already over. Raj has been accused as the key conspirator. There is sufficient evidence against him. Although no financial trial has been found regarding the case. According to the investigation, there were two strands of the police. One was arresting those who were producing these porn shows and the other tackled broadcast of these clips. There were broadcast from different countries as well.

One of the UK production houses was found to be uploading such content. Accordingly, its executive Umesk Kamat was arrested. An officer said that it was Kundra’s alleged connection to Kamat. The company that uploaded such pornographic content put Raj Kundra in trouble.

Following are the charges under which Kundra has been arrested, the Information Technology Act,  Section 420 (cheating), Section 34 (common intention), Sections 292 and 293 of the Indian Penal Code, and the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act.
