Yesterday, it was confirmed by Karaoke Johar that two of his home staff members had tweeted positive for Covid-19. Hiroo Johar mother or Karan Johar participated in the sanitization process at home. Karan Johar stays at home along with mother Hiroo Johar and two kids Yash and Roohi.
“I’d wish to inform you that two members of our household staff have tested positive for COVID 19. As soon the symptoms were detected they were anaesthetized quarantine during a section of our building. The BMC was informed immediately and therefore the building has been fumigated and sterilised by them as per the norms. The rest folks within the family and staff are all safe and display no symptoms.
We all have taken the swan test within the morning and have tested negative, but we’ll remain in self-isolation for next 14 days for the security of everyone around us. We stand by our commitment to safeguard everyone and have ensured that each one measure prescribed by the authorities are strictly adhered to.” stated by Karan Johar on social media on Monday.
A video of Hiroo Johar was uploaded on social media while going under the sanitization process. Other staff members and Karan Johar tested negative but they will be in self-isolation for 14 days. He had also said that the 2 positive tested staff members should get the best care and treatment.
The whole building is fumigated by Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation other than this all the members of the house had gone through the sanitization process. Other than this Karan Johar had requested people to stay home as this will help in winning the battle against Covid-19. “These are difficult times but by staying in our homes and taking the proper precautions, there’s little question in my mind that we will defeat this virus. Stay home everyone and stay safe,” said Karan Johar.
