Lauren Gottlieb, Nick Jonas, Eminem and others among the fraternity supports the ‘Black lives matter’ movement asking justice for George Floyd

A massive number of Protestors with the outrage in their eyes appeared on the road when they heard that George Floyd who is an African-American man got died on May 25th, 2020 in a Minneapolis. As per the autopsy report of him, it was been found that there was no indication of intense compression of the thoracic cavity, causing venous back-flow from the right side of the heart into the veins of the neck and the brain, despite this it has been revealed that the purpose of his death was due to the combined effect of the being restrained, underlying health conditions including hypertensive heart disease, and potential intoxicants in his body.

Although, the people available on the sight told that he was handcuffed and was lying down on the street during the arrest as one of the police officers kept his knee on his neck at least for 8 minutes after which Floyd become unresponsive. The whole incident has been recorded by several bystanders and later on, the video got viral on social media. The arrest was being made as one of the employees working at a retail store made a complaint against George Floyd that he was being suspected of using a counterfeit $20 bill.

After this incident, the United States has been hit by the demonstrations and protests out of which onlooker present at that time turned violent with the National Guard calling into action to stop this outrage. The protest which held on Sunday was been attended by Lauren Gottlieb, Nick Jonas, Eminem and other fraternity supporters holding the banner signifying that “make America not racist” to show their support towards the “Black Lives Matter”. Various companies like Nike, Twitter and Citigroup have aligned themselves with the Black lives Matter movement. Even Netflix tweeted that “to be silent is to be involvement. Black lives matter. We have a platform and a duty to our Black Members and employees to come forward and speak up.”

American singer Nick Jonas tweeted that, “after watching the whole scenario which has emerged over the last few days is been extremely heartbreaking. Due to the racism and lack of support from the leadership, so many lives got lost. Justice needs to be supported in the favour of the black lives so that no one should ever have to say “I can’t breathe” at the knees of law enforcement. As Floyd laid there, fighting for his life, struggling to breathe while other officers were standing there and kept on watching while Floyd’s voice kept on begging over and over for his life.

Even other protestors told that the man who put his knee on the neck of George Floyd does not deserve to remain free in this country. Across the street from the white house went up in flames and because of this many of America’s biggest cities were under curfew orders and the National Guard troops kept an eye overnight as police clashed with the mass group of people protesting the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis. Eminem raised his voice on social media by sharing that it’s an anti-racist call requesting people to come forward and asking justice for George Floyd.

One of the black Novelists also tweeted that “Neither love nor terror makes one blind: indifference makes one blind.” Hollywood celebrities have taken this matter to social media asking justice for Floyd’s death. Black people commented that “they do not have a choice in America and an option to communicate their messages to the government when they are being killed on the streets. Death of Floyd has rasp, not just Minneapolis but the whole nation, sparkling the days of protests.
