The bubbly Ms Zinta has been part of the Bollywood industry for the last 23 years and has no intention of slowing down. The English and criminology graduate also had her first international debut in 2008 in the Canadian Drama ‘Heaven on Earth’. The actress recently took to Instagram to celebrate the sixteen-year anniversary of ‘Salaam Namaste‘. The movie which had a grand release in 2005 took the box office by a whirl with the earnings being five times more than the invested budget. The movie revolving around Nikhil (played by Saif Ali Khan) and Ambar who is in a live-in relationship decide to part ways after an unwanted pregnancy, but are forced to live together due to the tenancy agreement. The crew consisted of Aditya Chopra as the director and Siddharth Anand as the director.
The post shared by Zinta had a beautiful video of herself in a few shots from the movie with the famous track ‘My Dil Goes Hmmmm’. She captioned the same with ‘Salaam Namaste turns 16 today and my dil is still going Hmmmm‘. The post received a lot of love from her fans and especially from her trainer Deanne Panday, who commented under the post reminiscing their memories from their Australian workout dates. One of her fans commented how he was in the second grade and loved listening to this track. The movie clearly left a major impact on the audience who seem to enjoy it to date.
