Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt may have become one of the most-sought-after dating couples in Bollywood right now. But that hasn’t affected Ranbir’s ex-girlfriend Katrina Kaif’s equation with Alia Bhatt or her sister Shaheen. Soon after Alia Bhatt broke down at an event while speaking about Shaheen’s depression, Katrina took to Instagram to write a heartfelt post for Ranbir’s future sister-in-law.
Deepika Padukone has taken to Instagram to accuse Katrina Kaif of plagiarism as the Padmaavat actress said that the latter had stolen her idea. Her stunning allegations ( made in good humour) came as she shared a video of Katrina doing the dishes after being forced to live in self-isolation. Her ‘accusation’ drew an instant response from Katrina Kaif. Their camaraderie conclusively proved that they have mended fences since Katrina was widely believed to be the reason for Deepika’s split with Ranbir Kapoor many years ago. Ranbir is currently dating Alia Bhatt.
Katrina wrote, “What a incredibly (sic) brave thing to do to write this book , so heartbreakingly honestly written . This all started with Katrina sharing a video of herself doing the dishes since all domestic help going on leave after the nationwide lockdown to contain the spread of the coronavirus.
Sharing the video, Katrina wrote, “️ += really makes u appreciate all the help we have at home #socialdistancing #staysafe #helpoutathome.
Katrina’s note came soon after a video of Alia breaking down in public went viral. In the video, Alia was seen talking about her guilt of not being more sensitive to her sister’s mental problem during their growing up period.
Alia also posted a photo of herself with Shaheen while promoting the latter’s book ‘I’ve Never Been (Un)happier.” She wrote, “Here comes the sun No better feeling than talking about your sisters first book! @shaheenb you are brilliant and I love you! Thank you @barkha.dutt for the platform! This will truly be a memory for lifeeeee!!!”
Alia and Ranbir are currently shooting for Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra with Amitabh Bachchan in Manali. The film, which also stars Mouni Roy, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Dimple Kapadia, is scheduled for release next year. Alia has also completed the shooting for Mahesh Bhatt-directorial Sadak 2, starring Sanjay Dutt, Pooja Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapur alongside her.
As for Katrina, she had told a TV programme earlier this year her friendship with Alia did not change because of the latter’s romantic relationship with Ranbir “The fact that she was dating was not relevant to the equation that I shared with her. So why should that equation change?” she had asked.
On Karan Johar’s chat show Koffee With Karan, Katrina had said that there was a lot of enjoyment and comfort that she shared with Alia. She also added that she, Alia and Deepika Padukone shared the same gym.

While we adore the girl love among these B-town beauties, will it bring forgiveness for Ranbir as well? Earlier, Kat and Ranbir did endorse a brand together, but reports suggested that they filmed it separately. Looks like Katrina needs more time to heal from her past.
