From nurturing the culinary skill to showcasing the artist in them people are doing everything to keep oneself busy and not die of bored since everything thing is shut because of the lockdown to prevent the spread of novel corona virus .
But someone actually out there has made most use of this free time . None other than our waka waka singer shakira has left everyone astonished by announcing that she had just completed a degree in ancient Philosophy.
Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll is a Colombian singer-songwriter, record producer, dancer, actress and philanthropist. Born and raised in Barranquilla.
Shakira announced her graduation moment on Instagram as well as on twitter by posting the picture of her degree and a boomerang that clearly shows her excitement and happiness .
She on Twitter and Instagram along with uploading her pictures wrote, I just graduated from my 4-week Ancient Philosophy course with the University of Pennsylvania (@Penn). I know… my hobbies are very impractical, but it took a lot of hours after the kids were asleep. Thank you, Plato and predecessors, for all the “fun” over the past month . her this class was authorized by Penn through Coursera, an online learning platform for higher education.
She may consider this as a fun activity but really hats off to her that she fulfilled her passion along with managing her kids . We all can imagine how tough this all would have been , that is managing and spending time with her kids and studying for a degree side by side.
Shakira is not among the ordinary people . She is just a complete package of talent, enthusiasm and capabilities.
