The Mandolorian has emerged as one of the best shows on DIsney+ in only a few months’ time. It was warmly welcomed by Star Wars fans all around the world who have enjoyed it. Baby Yoda, one of its most famous characters has taken the internet by a storm- what with all the fanart and the memes featuring him. Not to forget the fact that he’s absolutely adorable. The Mandalorian is also Disney+’s breakout show.
The Mandalorian’s creators have decided to release an eight-part docuseries on DIsney+ under the Disney Gallery. The docuseries will be an in-depth, behind-the-scenes and scenes look that could never make it to the actual show exclusive to the streaming platform. It is set to be released on the 4th of May which is also known as the Star Wars day. If you ask us, this is the perfect day for this docuseries to hit the streaming platform!

The Mandalorian will explore different aspects of the series through variety of interviews with the cast, crew, and production team. The series will also include never-before-seen footage from the room floor and roundtable conversations hosted by director, writer, and
producer Jon Favreau. Favreau described the series as an “opportunity for fans of the show to take a glance inside and obtain to ascertain a special perspective, and maybe a greater understanding, of how The Mandalorian came together,” during a handout.

Something that the tech geeks can look forward to in this docuseries would be how the special effects team brought The Mandalorian’s creatures to life. That includes the adorable Baby Yoda — or, as Disney and Lucasfilm officially ask him, The Child. Baby Yoda has become many people’s favourite Star Wars character and it does not come as a surprise that the new docuseries would want to shine some more light on this character and its formation process.

Due to the ongoing pandemic situation throughout the world, every major industry has come to a standstill and there has been a lack of new content on streaming services. This docuseries will help Disney and Disney+ to curb the lack of content issue to some degree and give it its viewers some new, much-wanted content. This docuseries will have to suffice up to some degree untill some new Star Wars content hits the streaming service.
The Mandalorian’s highly anticipated second season finished filming before production shut down, and Disney has not indicated if the second season’s release date are going to be affected. It’s slated to hit Disney Plus in October 2020 but given the current circumstances, it is hard to say if this will actually be the final release date.

If you still haven’t watched the series yet, we recommend you to watch it. It is available on Disney Plus. May the Force be with you!
