Milind Soman quits Tiktok for #BoycottMadeInChina movement initiated by Sonam Wangchuk

Supermodel and actor Milind Soman proclaimed on Twitter that he is no longer a TikTok user.

Taking inspiration from the engineer turned education reformer Sonam Wangchuk posted a video and embolden citizens to delete TikTok and boycott everything made in China. Milind tweeted, “I am no longer on TikTok #BoycottChineseProducts”. He also shared a short clip from
Wangchuk’s original video.

The Phunsukh Wangdu’s character of 3 idiots which was played by Aamir Khan is inspired by the Sonam Wangchuk. Recently, he released a YouTube video titled, China Ko Jawaab Sena Degi Bullet Se, Naagrik Dengey Wallet Se. His video came as a response to the belligerence between India and China in Ladakh.

In his video, Wangchuk said that not just soldiers, citizens should also respond to China. He explained the ways how citizens can leave an impact. He said, “Is Baar Bharat ki bullet power see zyada wallet power kaam aayegi. (This time instead of the bullet power, wallet power will play a more important role.)” Further, he went on to explain that China earns almost Rs 5 lakh crores annually from its business with India and this money in return used at the borders to kill our soldiers.

Meanwhile, Milind Soman’s fans applauded his decision to quit the Chinese video app.

Milind Soman was seen in the films Rules: Pyaar Ka Superhit Formula and Bajirao Mastani.
