Shrenu Parikh confirms she tested positive for Covid-19 and is recovering in the hospital

TV actress Shrenu Parikh has tested Covid-19 positive. The actress took to social media to inform fans about her condition and also requested them to stay safe and remember and her family members in their previous prayers.

Shrenu Parikh, who is popular for her serials such as Ishqbaaaz, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?, Ek Baar Phir and the latest being Ek Bhram Sarvagun Sampanna, has been found to be coronavirus positive. Confirming herself, Shrenu took to her Instagram account to share the news with her virtual family and revealed that she has been down with the deadly virus but is recovering in the hospital now.

“Hey everyone, have been away for a while but the bugger hasn’t spared me… was found COVID positive a few days ago, I’m now recovering in the hospital! Keep me and my family in your prayers! I am thankful to all the coronavirus warriors who treat the patients compassionately during these scary times too…” she wrote.

She captioned further “Even after being so careful if it can get to you then imagine the power of this invisible demon we are fighting with… Please please be very careful and save yourselves!”

Meanwhile, She was last seen in Ek Bhram Sarvagun Sampanna which aired in 2019. On the show, she played the roles of Janhvi Mittal and Pooja Sharma. She was also one of the leading actors in Ishqbaaaz which aired from 2017 to 2018. She was paired opposite Kunal Jaisingh and played the role of Gauri Kumari Sharma Singh Oberoi. Shrenu also reprised her role in the spin-off of Ishqbaaaz titled Dil Boley Oberoi which aired in 2017 on Disney+ Hotstar.

Shrenu returned to Mumbai from the USA. Given the prevailing situation due to Covid-19, she has followed the necessary 14-day self-quarantine at her Mumbai home (it ended on Saturday, March 28.) Then the actress drove to Vadodra to her hometown. She is currently staying at her hometown Vadodara in Gujarat during the lockdown to stay with her family.
